Passport Information: Applications - New Passport / Passport Renewal

New or Renew Passport:

At the Honorary Consulate, you will have to fill in Arabic, an Application Form and 2 Passport Registration Forms and stamp your right thumbprint on both of them and provide:

  • 3 photos (passport size).

  • Original Lebanese ID (Tazkarat al-Hawiya or Ikhraj Kayd Fardy).

  • Original Family Civil Registry Record (Ikhraj Kayd Aaely) issued after Jan.1, 1994.

  • Old Lebanese Passport with 2 photocopies of each of its first seven pages.

  • In case of replacing a lost passport, a police report is a must.

  • Cash or money order payable to the Honorary Consulate of Lebanon in the amount of: CAN $200.00 for 5 years, or $40.00 for one year. (A $40.00 courier charge will be added when applying for a new passport).

Adding Children to Passport:

  • The father of the child should be Lebanese.

  • Child's registration at the Honorary Consulate should precede adding his name to his parent's Lebanese passport.

  • Original ID for a child already registered in Lebanon (Tazkarat al-Hawiya or Ikhraj Kayd Fardy).

  • Notarized letter from both parents authorizing the Honorary Consulate to add their dependent to one of their Lebanese passports

  • 2 passport size pictures showing both mother & child.

  • Cash or money order in the amount of CAN $22.50 per child payable to the Honorary Consulate of Lebanon.

Adding Spouse to Passport:

  • The wife should be Lebanese.

  • Registration of marriage should precede adding of the wife's name to her husband's passport.

  • Marriage Certificate or Family Civil Registry Record (Ikhraj Kayd Aaely) if the marriage is already registered in Lebanon.

  • Husband's valid Lebanese Passport.

  • Cash or money order in the amount of CAN $22.50 payable to the Honorary Consulate of Lebanon.

RENEWAL OF PALESTINIAN TRAVEL DOCUMENT:

Note:

  • Original documents will be returned to the applicant.

  • The documentation is sent to the Lebanese Embassy who in turn will issue the new passport.

  • An official receipt will be issued by the Embassy.
