Visa Information: Application - Visa

A visa can be obtained within 5 working days at the Honorary Consulate. The validity of a visa is 90 days from the issue date, and the duration of a visa (15 days, one, three or six months) starts from the day of entry to Lebanon.

Obtain Visa at Beirut International airport

* The cost for a visa at the airport is $17.00 US, it is for one entry and valid for 3 months only.
* There is no fee for the Airport’s visa valid for one month and one entry only.
* Holders of Iraqi passports can be issued tourist visas upon their arrival to Lebanon via Beirut Airport, if they hold two thousand dollars in cash, hotel booking or known address, and a return ticket.

Essential Documents:

  • A passport valid for at least 30 days beyond the expiry date of the visa.

  • A photocopy of the passport pages containing the identity of the bearer and the validity of the document.

  • A fee payable to the Honorary Consulate of Lebanon in the amount of:

  • CAN. $35.00 for a Single entry visa, per person.

  • CAN. $50.00 for a Double entry visa, per person.

  • CAN. $70.00 for a Multiple entries visa, per person.

  • CAN. $52.50 for a Transit visa, (valid for 72 hours) per person.

       For minors:

  • Both parents should sign the authorization for traveling, in the presence of the Consular Officer. They can also sign the authorization in the presence of the Notary Public of their city which should be legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

  • In case the minor is under guardianship, the guardian should produce a certified copy of the judgment granting guardianship.

Note:

Applicants holding Lebanese Travel Documents for Palestinian Refugees should call the  Honorary Consulate for getting complete information before forwarding their documents.

A Lebanese visa will not be issued on any passport or travel document stamped with an Israeli visa or seal. Moreover, a Lebanese visa is rendered invalid if an Israeli visa or seal is stamped on the passport.
